The Burundian diplomats and the local staff of the diplomatic mission to New Delhi celebrated the 57th Anniversary of Independence at the Chancery. These ceremonies have seen the participation of the Minister of Finance and International Cooperation.
Apart from the diplomats and their families based in New Delhi and the local staff , some of the Burundian students studying in New Delhi joined the 57th anniversary ceremonies of Independence.
The Ambassador recalled the message of the President of the Republic of Burundi, H.E Pierre Nkurunziza addressed to the Nation on this occasion.
In her speech of the day , H.E Stella Budiriganya, the Ambassador ofthe Republic of Burundi to New Delhi has recalled the message delivered by H.E , Pierre Nkurunziza, the President of the Republic of Burundi related to the event.
The special guest of the day, H.E Dr Domitien Ndihokubwayo , the Minister of Finance, Budget and Economic Development Cooperation, has transmitted the message of greetings and reassured that peace and security in Burundi are a reality. He emphasized on the teachings of our President which take source in our national anthem. All Burundians are invited to like their country and develop it themselves.
On Tuesday, the second July 2019, at the office of Exim-Bank of India,H.E Dr. Domitien Ndihokubwayo, Minister of Finance, Budget andEconomic Development Cooperation signed the LOC for constructionthe New Parliament in Gitega;the political capital , and construction of Ministerial Buildings in Burundi.
