The Embassy of the Republic of Burundi to India, New Delhi received a delegation from Burundi led by Honourable Evelyne Butoyi, Minister of Youth, Posts and Information Technologies (ICTs). The said delegation was invited to attend the conference organized by India Telecom.
Honourable Minister Evelyne Butoyi took the opportunity to give an overview of Burundi’s ambitions in ICTs. On the sidelines of the Conference, the Minister Evelyne Butoyi made a courtesy visit to the Minister of India of commerce, industry and civil aviation Honourable Shri Suresh Prabhu. Their exchanges emphasized on the ICTs sector, a sector full of energy for young people.
The Indian Minister has promised to her counterpart, the Burundian Minister, a full support of India and has invited her to participle to the “CII Conclave “on India Africa Project Partnership “scheduled to take place from 17-19 March 2019 in New Delhi.The Burundian Minister was invited to prepare the projects to be submitted in the CII Conclave and his counterpart of India ensured her to help to be financed by the Government of India.
