Her Excellency Stella Budiriganya, the Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi has attended the 32nd Industrial India Trade Fair at West Bengal, east of India. The Ambassador was invited by the president of the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and the Consul of the Republic of Burundi to Kolkata, Arpan Mitra.
Her Excellency, Stella Budiriganya took the opportunity in her speech to invite all the dignitaries present in the trade fair such as the Minister of Small & Medium Enterprises, the Minister of Tourism and the President of Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Thailand with various entrepreneurs to come to invest in Burundi in various fields.

Indeed Burundi has a lot to offer in public and private sectors, for example in acquiring natural resources and in agro-pastoral. Especially in transformation unites with repackaging & conservation techniques. All those fields are needed in Burundi with high demand. Burundi is a stable county in peace, with one of the best weather in Africa as it is located near the equator with good rainfall throughout the year.
Her Excellency Stella Budiriganya the Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi has explained many opportunities that Burundi offers as the country in the way to the development.
“Burundi is described as the heart of Africa, the country of milk and honey”, has added the Ambassador in front of the investors.
In conclusion, the Consul of Burundi to Kolkata Mr. Arpan Mitra also invited investors and various businessmen to go and invest in Burundi as it offers many opportunities.
